This small double-barrier LB system offers accurate results and consumes comparatively smaller place in the laboratories. Optional accessories like the Phase Contrast Inverted Fluorescence Microscope can be provided on request. Moreover, the software gives users full control over the instrument & offers high performance.

A Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film is a monolayer [i.e., a layer having single molecular thickness] or a set of monolayers of organic materials, deposited from the surface of a liquid onto a solid by immersing or emerging the solid substrate into or from the liquid. The monolayers are assembled vertically and are usually composed of amphiphilic molecules with a hydrophilic or polar head and a hydrophobic or non-polar tail.
